Every iBooking Ticket Account is created to support either Tour mode or Journey mode depending on your business type. The method to manage your account is the same, regardless of it's type. The instructions below explain the options available under the Manage Tours/Journeys section. These settings allow you to change aspects of the products you sell, or add new Tours or Journeys to your account.
Tour/Journey Names
You can add Tour/Journey names along with a description. The tour name is later used to link the Schedules to the Tour/Journey. To create a new Tour/Journey, Go to Management -> Tour Names.
Tour/Journey List: You can view the existing tours from the list page. Also, you can view/modify/delete the Journey/Tour names at any time.
Tour/Journey Types
You can add different types - for example, Sightseeing Tours, Three-day tours, Boat tours, Bus transfers, City transfers, Airport/Hotel transfers etc. The Tour/Journey types can operate Single/Return or Round.
Tour/Journey Settings
This section allows you to add different settings for each of the Tours or Journeys added.
Name & Description: You can add the Tour Name & Description which will be displayed on the booking site. Also, there is an option to show/hide the description.
Booking Option: You can select/choose the mode of booking for the Tour/Journey. It can be open for online booking & internal booking as well.
Capacity: The maximum capacity for the Tour/Journey can be defined here.
Images: You can add multiple images for each of your Tours/Journeys. You can use the upload or drag & drop feature to upload the images. The uploaded images will then be displayed on your booking engine.
Tour/Journey Pricing
You can set the prices for each of the ticket types for each currency enabled for that particular account. You can also set custom prices for different days, and different times of a single day.
Adding Extras
Extras is an additional service that can be added to any Tour/Journey. You can create an extra by just adding the name, description and a price based on each ticket type.
Tour/Journey Linking
A Linked Tour/Journey can be used to associate more than one Tour/Journey with another. For example, you can create a combination Tour offering a City Tour in the morning and a sunset Tour in the evening.
Tour/Journey Discounts
Discount allows you to create n number of discounts that can be given to the customers or the partners to trigger a discount on the actual ticket price.
Booking Fees
A booking fee can be set for each tour/journey. When enabled, the booking fee will be added to the total cost of the booking. The booking fee can be set on a per tour/journey or a per ticket basis.
